The car’s paint is all original and really highlights the Esprit’s unmistakable lines; it’s hard to think of a better color for this model.
Lotus only built 1,237 units of the Esprit V8 between 1996 and 2004; needless to say, they rarely come to market.

Mechanical & Performance
The Lotus Esprit V8 is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.5L V8 engine producing 350 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. It features a 5-speed manual transmission and rear wheel drive. Thanks to its mid-engine design and light weight, the Esprit is a very quick car, blasting to 100 km/h (62mph) in around 4.1 seconds.
The car’s brakes are excellent thanks to Lotus/AP Racing partnership.
The car was originally delivered in California (US-spec) on March 12, 2001 and also spent time in Ontario and Alberta during its life. It was well-maintained by its previous owners and only genuine parts were used for maintenance and rebuilding. All parts from reputable sellers such as JAE Parts in California, as well as GTO Racing in Wales (UK) – records included.
- Rebuilt engine (February 2016)
- Rebuilt differential
- New transmission mounts
- Upgraded wastegate
- New seals, gaskets, intake manifold, etc.
Body & Paint
The Esprit’s body is clean and straight with no panel gaps or damage. Its paint is mostly original and looks great; there are only a handful of minor imperfections on the paint, nothing bigger than half an inch.
It has a clear protective wrap covering half the car’s front end (bumper, partial hood and side mirrors) – there’s a small knick on the clear wrap on the front bumper.
Clean CarFax report – no stories. US-spec car.
Comes with books, service records, toolkit and spare tire.
